Good morning, my lovely readers, I hope you're feeling the beautiful fall breeze! The crisp air, chirping birds, and vibrant pumpkins have me in the best mood. I woke up today feeling grateful, inspired, and ready to share something close to my heart: self-care.
Last week, I bought a journal to declutter my mind—it was getting a bit wild in there! Between all the travel and changing time zones, my routine has been slipping, and honestly, I’ve had a few mornings of just scrolling aimlessly or sleeping in. But lately, I’ve been sticking to a routine that keeps me grounded. I start my day at 5 AM (yes, you read that right!) and dive into work. One of my clients gave me some gold advice: meditate, especially when life is busy. So, I’ve been doing just that—10 minutes of mindfulness, and wow, it works wonders for clearing the mind.
Let’s talk about self-care, though—taking care of yourself mentally and physically. When you nurture yourself, you radiate happiness and strength. So, what makes you happy? What’s that effortless little thing you can do every day to boost your mood? Maybe it’s swiping on that new lipstick or spritzing your favorite perfume. For me, it starts with my skincare routine. I’m obsessed with this pineapple scrub, and I’ve been trying Hailey Bieber’s Rhode products (trust me, they’re amazing!). They’ve even helped clear up some aacne issues I’ve been dealing with.
After my skincare, I meditate. It’s simple but seriously effective at centering my thoughts. Then, I brew my coffee and dive into work. If I have time, I plan out recipes or self-care ideas to blog about later. Nails, hair, a swipe of lip gloss—it’s the little things that make me feel fabulous, inside and out. And let’s not forget, a good hair day in this season? Total win.
Self-care is about finding what works for you. Whether it’s meditation, nails, or skincare, it’s all about doing what makes you feel like your best self. Take care of you, and trust me, you’ll feel unstoppable. When my clients have an off day, I remind them: you can always choose to shift your mood, just like I do.
So go ahead, embrace that new self-care routine babes!
Xoxo,
Victoria S
