From Summer Heat to Autumn's Chill....

Seasons of Change:
Summer is slipping away, and fall is creeping in—my favorite season. There’s something comforting about the crisp air, the return of cozy sweaters, and revisiting those classic TV shows. Honestly, if you don’t know by now, Blair Waldorf is my Roman Empire. I can’t resist a good rewatch of *Gossip Girl* as the leaves start to turn.
But as the seasons change, so do we. Lately, I’ve been thinking about how much our tastes evolve over time. What new things have you picked up? What phrases have found their way into your daily lexicon? For me, I couldn’t help but chuckle the first time someone described me as “demure.” Really? Demure? I almost had to check my reflection—did I miss a memo?
It’s funny how words, like trends, come and go. One season you’re all about the bold and brash, and the next, you’re being called “demure” and wondering when that happened. But isn’t that the beauty of it? As time moves on, we shift, too—our preferences, our habits, even our slang. And through it all, I’m grateful for the friends who keep me on my toes, who encourage me to step outside my comfort zone, whether it’s trying a new dish or exploring a different genre of music.
It’s wild how fast things can change. One day, you’re chasing summer’s endless days, and the next, you’re fully embracing fall’s reflective mood. Sometimes it feels like I’m adapting as quickly as the weather—constantly evolving, always adjusting.
So, here’s what I’m pondering: As we move into this new season, what’s shifting in your life? Is it your taste, your style, maybe even your circle of friends? Do you think it’s better to stick to what you know or embrace the changes that come with the seasons?
As the world turns, we keep turning with it—maybe a bit more demure, or maybe just more ourselves.
Xoxo,
