BETWEEN DAWN & DESTINY....

Good morning to my West Coast dreamers, my French fashionistas, my Russian romantics, and every reader tuning in from around the world! I woke up before my alarm today—don’t you love those mornings when you’re wide awake before the world demands it? I wandered out to find my husband glued to the TV, witnessing a new chapter written into history: Trump won the 2024 election. Now, before you hit the “exit” button or brace for a political rant, don’t worry—this isn’t that kind of blog.
Whether today brings relief, resignation, or something in between, there’s something magical in standing at this turning point and knowing we are still here, still breathing, still free to shape our days. And isn’t that, in itself, a quiet revolution? Whatever else happens, we carry within us a freedom that goes deeper than politics—a freedom to live, to laugh, to choose joy even as the world spins and shifts around us.
As the year stretches toward its close, we’re each faced with our own reckoning. Have we kept the promises we made to ourselves? Have we walked the path with the kind of faith and fire we always hoped we would? It’s tempting to think consistency is the secret, that steady steps bring us closer to who we’re meant to be. But maybe, just maybe, there’s beauty in the detours, in the stumbles and the pauses, in finding strength not in rigidity but in grace.
Sometimes, I think that life asks us to adapt more than it asks us to persist. It’s as if the universe whispers, “Yes, be committed, but don’t be afraid to flow with the river.” In the end, maybe it’s not about how firmly we hold to our plans, but how tenderly we listen to our hearts along the way. In this shifting world, isn’t it enough just to be awake, alive, to make each choice with care, to live each day as if it were poetry itself?
So, as we stand at this crossroads, I ask you: How do you feel? What dreams light up your horizon? What do you believe the future will bring? Hold that vision close, let it guide you, and remember—you are here to shape your story, to leave your mark, to make the world sing with the beauty of who you are.
Xoxo,
